Albies Lunch Run! (no photo)

I hit Albies (on 12th and 7th in Nampa) at lunch to pick up a few things on there buy 10 items get $5 off automatically!

Side note: I desperately need to start doing my coupon shopping again, things are just so darn busy...I know no excuse and I will get on it I'm hoping this week!

So I was very excited to hit this sale as I didn't have to have any coupons to do it! Of course no sale of there's goes without some sort of hiccup but that's ok they made up for it! My plan was to go for Cream of Mushroom soup, Cream of Chicken Soup, Green Beans, Corn and Vegetable Oil (24oz size). But of course there supplier sent them the wrong Vegetable Oil so they didn't have the size that was on the sale, but that's ok they worked with me and gave me a rain check for the amount it would've been if I would've bought 10 bottles of it!!!

So I purchased
3 cans of Albertson's brand Cream of Mushroom soup = $0.29 each
3 cans of Albertson's brand Cream of Chicken soup = $0.29 each
2 cans of Green Giant Corn = $0.39 each (regular price is $1.69, with your preferred card it's $0.89 then you also get the $0.50 off with this promo going on!)

Total out of pocket with tax was an amazing $3.50!!!!

Plus I got a rain check for 10 bottles of Vegetable Oil for only $0.99 each that's good within the next 30 days!

For those of you that don't know I have started getting my nails done again! I have been to several people over the years but Tamra is by far the best! She was able to get me in, in a time crunch and now she's running a special for people that I refer in that I like to call the "Keri Special" You get a whole set for $35 (regular $45) just for mentioning my name!!!!

She does amazing! She does only acrylic (no glueing on fake nails then covering them with acrylic) all your own nails and if they're not quite long enough no problem she just uses a form thing that builds them until they do grow to be long enough!!! Ryker is 2...I can't believe it...

Our little dude turned 2 8/31 - I can't even believe it!!!

We had a fun PETTING ZOO birthday party for him and he had a blast!

He really really wanted to go in the pin with the cow but couldn't it took a while to explain that one LOL!! He wasn't so sure about the baby bunnies but the other kids loved them! His favorite was the baby pigmy goat - a boy after mama's heart (since that's my favorite animal)!

He didn't really have a blast opening gifts - hopefully next year but he did have fun with these specific gifts!!!

Papa Rick and Nana Sue got him this awesome helmet to go with the Honda 50 that Ry and I got him! He had a permagrin for at least an hour!!! He got so many wonderful gifts including a fishing pole from Papa and Nana Sigman that he got to use when we went camping!

We had such a wonderful day with our great families and friends!!!

My 1st Experience COUPON SHOPPING at Walmart...

Ok so I've heard horrible stories and I've heard good stories about coupon shopping\price matching at Walmart. So I gave it my best shot today at lunch because I knew I wouldn't be able to make it over to Albie's and back! All in all it turned out just about how I wanted it to with a few hiccups but of course there are some complaints...
(went to the Walmart on E Franklin in Nampa - near the Idaho Center)

MY EXPERIENCE:

• There were a very limited number of check out lines open and every one of them had a long line...
• I had the Albie's ad with me to price match the Prego Spaghetti Sauce because it's $1.78 at Walmart where Albie's had it in there ad for $0.99 limit of 2 - so the check stated they don't go by the limits so you can get as many as you want!!!!!! So I went back and grabbed 2 while Ky checked out with the stuff that she got! (Thinking YAY FREE - nope wrong...)
• So I had my coupons sitting on the counter and he just stands there - well come to find out he didn't know how to figure the doublers so we had to wait for a manager but in the mean time another cashier walked up to try to help. So come to find out they won't price match and do the doubler it's one or the other so I chose the price match and used my 2 $1/2 Prego coupons!
• So they had to VOID out everything I was using doublers on and re-ring it decreasing the price by $1 because they don't get reimbursed for the doublers therefore they cannot scan those coupons.

So this took forever and made some people very angry behind me in line but when push came to shove I came up on top other than spending $4 more than I had planned but I'm not going to complain since I only spent $5.99 LOL!

So here is my break down:

DAVEY Family UPDATE

Not much to say but I thought I would update everybody and let you know the house is amazing!!! It's so cool being in our own home! Now if only we could keep track of time and go to bed at a decent hour I wouldn't be so exhausted LOL! We have the house completely unpacked and organized so just have to go and get our remaining stuff out of my parents house and we'll be rocking and rolling!
Starting to plan Ryker's 2nd Birthday party - as a Mama I can't even believe it's already that time :( He is growing up so fast I can't even keep up! So **SAVE THE DATE** for Sunday August 29th at 2pm! It will be a birthday party nobody will forget!!!

Huge NEWS from the Davey Family!!!

So for those of you that don't know - - - we got our own place!!! Yay so very exciting! We moved a lot of our stuff in last night but still have a lot to go! I'm pretty stoked, I feel like an official adult finally lol! I don't have any pictures of the house yet but it's super cute! We've decided to stay in Nampa for now since that's where we both work! The house has a huge fenced backyard which is so exciting for Ryker!

We were truly ready and tremendously needed a change! So I just hope and pray it all works out the way it's supposed to!

And since we have our own house now it's going to be back to coupon shopping which I love it was just taking up to much time!!!
