Christmas 2011

Bittersweet... the best way to describe this Christmas.  All the changes seemed to hit...  I'm usually ok with sharing but sharing my baby boy for the holidays was a bit rough on me...  We did our gifts a bit different this year as I didn't think I was going to have Ryk at the family gathering on Christmas afternoon.  We went and had dinner at Ky's and let Ryk give the kids there gifts and they gave Ryk his gifts the Wednesday before Christmas and the kids had a blast!  Ryk was pretty stoked that Auntie got him his very own copy of CARS!!!  Christmas day was a bit of a struggle - I dealt with a severe migraine from the time I got up and it kept me down all day :'( I made breakfast in the morning and watched my sweet boy open his gifts, Ryan came and got him around 12 but I was ok with it as my head hurt so bad by this time I was in tears...  Dan came over and we headed to Ky's house for the family dinner.  I made a pumpkin roll, oreo pudding cake, sticky buns and homemade crockpot mac n cheese!!!  All were a big hit, wish I was feeling better so I could've enjoyed it all as well!  Great to spend time with the whole family, Grandpa Chandler came, a couple of uncle's and of course June, Dus and the precious 3 kiddos!  So fun to see all the little ones enjoying Christmas!!!  Fyn got an IPOD touch from Santa so her and I played with that a lot!  Then to my surprise Ryan called and said he was on his way over with Ryker!  So even though it was Ryan's day I got my baby boy in the morning and the night!  I had Monday off work as well so we had a great day playing cars, the Wii, UNO Moo, Hex Bugs and so much more!
I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas with there loved ones!!!

It was so much fun - this is the 1st time in a long time that I've actually enjoyed Christmas time for all the right reasons!  Though 2011 has been the toughest year of my life I'm on the right track to make 2012 an amazing year!!!!

Thanksgiving 2011

What a great Thanksgiving, possibly the best one ever!!!
I was lucky enough to host this years Thanksgiving at my house and it turned out great!  Mom and Dad decided they wanted to do the turkey and Aunt Wanda decided to do the ham so really I got off quite easy!!!

PS: So we decided to do some "Black Friday" shopping - technically Thanksgiving night shopping!  I got everything on my list but 2 things!!!  It was quite entertaining to say the least but I was back home and in bed by 11:45pm!!!

Kids say the darndest things!

So last month I went to Twin Falls to get away and see the sites!!!  I got some of the pictures I took enlarged and framed and hung them on the wall!!!  As I was hanging them Ryk says to me "Mommy who took those pictures" and I said "Well I did bubba" and he started to cry and said "but you've never brought me to a water fall".  So a couple weeks pass by and Ryk is sitting on Nanny Soup's lap and points to the pictures and says "ya know my Mommy took those pictures, maybe one day she'll bring me to a waterfall" of course saying it with these sat pitiful eyes lol!
So I decided before the weather gets to bad we better take a road trip!  So yesterday Mom, Dad, Ryk, and I all headed down to Twin to see the waterfall that I have named "Keri's Waterfall" as well as Shoshone Falls and the waterfalls in Hagerman!  Ryk had a great time except that he was cold but he enjoyed it and now he can't keep holding it over my head!  Here are a few pics of our mini trip!

NOVEMBER 2011

Where on earth has 2011 gone????

Fall as many of you know is my absolute favorite time of year!!!  I love the weather, the leaves, the colors and the crisp fresh air!!!

I just wanted to put up some pics a little bit of an update of our halloween weekend!

Had the fam over on Friday to carve pumpkins - it was a little chilly outside so we did it in the garage it was so much fun!  Ryk loves cutting things open so he thoroughly enjoyed himself lol!!!

LOL so I didn't have any scotch tape and borrowed electical so this is my punishment for not having tape lol!  But that's ok because I have one of the cutest kids ever by my side!!!  Auntie loves you Packy-Poo

So much fun at Wissell Farms pumpkin patch!!!  This is the 3rd year we've gone to there's and we'll continue going back as long as they have it open!!!  We all had a blast!

So many changes since I updated last...

Wow so Kyla was trying to look at my blog today and informed me that I needed to make some changes lol!!!
So as many know it's just Ryk and I now, but it's ok it's for the best!
We have a brand new home which we love so very very much!  We're going to have a "New Beginning" party once things settle down a bit...
I recently had surgery as I had been sick for a bout 6 weeks and am starting to feel much better!!!
Ryk is looking forward to being a duck for halloween, it's amazing at even his age once he gets something in his head it's impossible to change his mind lol!!!

Easter 2011

Did an Easter photo session with a local photographer that we've never used before. We were excited to do it with these precious colored chicks! I can't believe how much our sweet boy is growing up - it's neat to watch sad in the same sense, he's not my little baby anymore :( We hope everybody has a great and safe Easter! Big Bump...

We went to a get together at a friends house where Rykee had a new friend to play with! He was so excited because Anthony had a scooter so Anthony rode Ryk's trike and Ryk rode Anthony's scooter! All of a sudden here's Ryk screaming at the back door as his head looks like there's something trying to burst out of his forehead :( I think I cried more than he did, it was so awful ... I hope I never have to see this happen EVER again. All's well he tells me everyday Mommy my knot is almost gone LOL. And Terry still calls him unicorn LOL

Play Date!

Ky and I brought the boys on a fun play date with there little friend Dreyden before he and his Mom moved back to there home town. The boys always have so much fun together! Can't wait to see them again!

Chili Ride 2011

We had a great time at the annual chili ride out at Hemmingway Butte on Sunday. It was freezing cold and it even snowed on us a little bit but we still had a blast! I even took Ryker for a spin on his bike - Ky told me I looked like a "natural" LOL looks like I may have fooled some people! To tell the truth though it really made me want my own bike!!!

Got my hair did!!!

It was time for a change! I went last night after work and got my hair chopped off! Finally got the screwed up part gone - silly me for trusting a place I shouldn't have. I can no longer say "how can someone possibly screw up a trim?" because I now know how severly someone can screw up a trip lol. But thanks to Desra it's fixed and looks great!

Desra styled it spikey in the back which everybody loved but idk if it's really me! I may try to do it but we'll see :)

"Battle In Seattle" - 3/17/11 through 3/20/11

I was lucky enough to accompany Dustin, June, Fyn and Pax to Fyn's speedmeet in Federal Way, WA this past weekend! It was tiring but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Let's just say I am the luckiest Aunt in the world to be able to go and do these things!!!
The trip down went great, to much excitement in the air for any of us to sleep much! Dus and June were afraid of how Pax was going to do and to all of our amazement he did absolutely great!!! I don't think he cried once on the way down!!!
We were all pretty hungry by the time we got to town so we stopped at DQ and enjoyed lunch then the kids enjoyed some ice cream before headed to the house we stayed at!

Once we got settled at where we were staying it was time to hit the rink for Fyn's first practice! She did great and got to see some of her competition! That night we were lucky enough to stay and watch the NSC pro skaters - wow they were so fast in speeds upwards of 45 mph, on skates that's insane!!! Fyn loved it she got to give most of the competitors high five and she even included Pax and let him high five some of them! She's the best big sister ever!!! After it was all over she got to have a lot of the skaters sign her sweatshirt!!!

Friday it rained and rained but we still had fun! We spent most of the day at the rink! Pax loved his ride through the rain on sisters skate bag lol The kids did great in there relay and got 2nd place they were all very excited!!! We hit Red Robin for dinner with everybody from the team it was a pretty quiet dinner as everybody was exhausted!

Fyn skated her little heart out on Saturday and qualified for both her finals and placed 3rd in one and 5th in the other which got her to the main final on Sunday! We got out of there pretty early so we headed to lunch with the crew then off to Seattle we went! We had a blast other than it taking 45 minutes to go 3 blocks downtown Seattle. We went and saw all the "interestin" people at Pikes Market and saw them throwing the fish! Then headed to dinner with some of the friends they have met through Speed Skating! Once we got done we were all extremely exhausted and headed back to where were staying as Sunday was going to be an early day as well!

Sunday Fyn did great!!! She ended up 5th overall and I couldn't be more proud!!! We were able to head home around 12 (noon) and boy was I ready to get home and see my baby boy!!! Hit some snow, wind and rain on the way home but Dus was a great driver and got us home safe and sound!!!

Thanks again guys for bringing me along I had a blast and can't wait to do it again!!!
