So I went on my lunch break, I had everything planned out... And shockingly enough it didn't work out. I couldn't find everything I wanted or anybody to help me find what I was looking for... Then I got a cranky cashier that didn't help at all... Plus I had realized my darn $2 CAT had expired the day before so that started it off as not a great shopping trip because it's like throwing money way. Everytime I've been to Albie's and have to do more than 1 transaction I've always written a check for over and gotten cash so I didn't have to write multiple checks and this cashier wouldn't let me do it so I ended up writing 4 checks ugh... Plus Ry knew I was going to the grocery store so right before I left to go ther eon my lunch break he called with a list which then really threw things off. Ok lets get this over with so I never have to think about it again!

Wow can anybody say nightmare? This was a horrible experience... I brought Ryk shopping with me I thought it would be fine until I couldn't find some of the stuff I needed (that always messes with me) then the lines were ridiculous therefore my 1 year old got more than a little impatient... Then to add all of that I got a grouchy checker. I unfortantely was paying more attention to Ryk than what was going on at the checkstand so ended up having to go back the very next day to get reimbursed for some of the items...

Tip: When there is a B1G1F sale - make sure you know the in's and out's - such as the McCormick B1G1F sale was if you bought the exact same thing... ex: Lemon and Pepper Seasoning must buy 2 to get the deal

This is the transaction that I wasn't paying attention because I was trying to keep Ryker entertained - the checker decided to put my coupons in the bag along with my receipt and not scan them... I wasn't very happy I had coupons for all the Ziplocs and the cereal plus doublers. So this is why I had to go back and get money reimbursed.

So after this hassle I ended up paying $18.38 OOP and saved $66.58!!!
So even though it was frustrating and stressful I definitely came out ahead!!!

1st Family Trip
We took our 1st family vacation a couple weekends ago! We left March 31st and came home April 3rd so we were home for Easter! We had a great time and got some good relaxing family time in!
The trip was going great then a big storm hit and even Ryk got upset... it's funny how kids can sense things!
Ryker and his cousin Allison had such a great time playing - once they warmed up to eachother!
Ryker had a great time playing with Great Great Uncle Jim and wow they look so much alike! Then Ryk misjudged how far he was from Ryan and did a face plant poor little dude had a black eye for a week! But he was a trooper he stood up and brushed it off LOL!
We went to this fun little indoor playground called Kiddoz in Bend, Or to let Ryk burn some energy he had some a great time!
We went to Kline Falls in Redmond, OR and Ryk had a blast playing and feeding the swans - he was amazed when the swan ate right out of Ryan's hand!
We went to the Gorge and had a great time, we were only there about 2 minutes it was way to cold to stay any longer!
Easter Pictures
On 3/30 I went and purchased 3 baby roosters (or I like to call them chicks) - Lisa (my sister in law) set up the photo shoot with the photographer at her work! Wow we had a blast and all chicks are still alive and living happily at Uncle Tim's house! Thought I would share some of the photos!

Got to love Walmart Clearance...
So yesterday I ran to Walmart (on E. Franklin in Nampa) to grab a couple Sunday papers - they moved there clearance isle to the front so I thought hey I might as well take a look! Since we're getting ready to start potty training the Pull Ups caught my eye and to my suprise they were on clearance for $5 well I just happened to have 2 of my $3/1 coupons so I got (3) 26 packs of Cool Alert Pull Ups for only $9 total OOP!!!! I also purchased a 13 pocket expandable file folder - on clearance for $1 and a bag on the go (for dogs but they work great for the diaper bag!) for only $1!!!!
I'm off and running to Albie's tonight when I get off work, I just hope they have some stuff left LOL - then purchasing Wednesday papers tomorrow morning for the great sale starting tomorrow!

Wow... falling behind
Hi sorry things have been so hectic lately I haven't been able to update. I have to update a couple of my shopping trips, I will try to do so tomorrow. Some do's and don'ts and things I have learned in the last couple of trips. I haven't been going or planning as much as I really want to it's hard working full time and getting this shopping stuff organized lol!!!
Update on personal life!
Last Tuesday we (meaning Lisa and I and the kids) got Easter pictures done! I went and bought baby chicks from Dunlap Hatchery in Meridian, we did pictures, then gave the chicks to Ry and Lisa's Uncle Tim! Wow that was fun here are a couple of the pictures!
We left last Wednesday (3/31) for Oregon we would have loved to go to the Oregon Coast but that's to long in the car with Ryk! So we went and visited my wonderful family in the Bend\Redmond area and had a wonderful relaxing time! I will have to post pictures later as they're still on my camera! The exciting news is before we headed out of town we got a great deal on diapers at Walmart thanks to my sister who found them 1st! We got 2 boxes of Huggies Little Movers (72 ct) for only $7 per box!!!! SCORE :)
Well I will update a lttle more later on when I have my receipts in front of me!
