Kelloggs Cereal Deal and CHILL Deal - Gotta love Albie's!!!

So last night after\inbetween spending time with Ryker, painting Fyn's finger nails, and working out with some great friends I went to Albertson's and had another great experience!  I must admit when I started this coupon shopping thing I was scared to death because of all the stories I've heard about how rude the people that work at Albertson's are, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the helpful associates at all the Albertson's I have been to so far!  Last night I went strictly to get cereal and ended up with a few more things!

I got:

8 things of Old Orchard Frozen Juice (CHILL Promo)

2 Boxes of Bagel Bites (CHILL Promo)

5 Boxes of Kellogg's Cereal

I used:

2   $1/2 Kellogg's Cereal Coupons

1    $0.70/1 In Store Kellogg's Cereal Coupon

2   $1/1 Bagel Bites Coupons

2    $1/4 Old Orchard Frozen Juice Coupons

$10 CAT from my last shopping trip

I payed:

$8.56 OOP

I rec'd back:

$10 CAT for the CHILL Promo

$4 CAT for the Kellogg's Promo

Which means I made $5.44 just by going grocery shopping!!!

Wow ... I love love love coupon shopping.  Now if I could just find the time to get organized!

So my sister in law and I went coupon shopping on Saturday morning, wow was that fun!  Mamosa's and coupon shopping all in 1!  I got 6 (4 packs) of yogurt, 4 lbs of chicken, Meow Mix cat food (not pictured), and 2 boxes of Oreo Cakesters (not pictured) for $1.53 OOP.  This was after coupons, doublers, preferred savings and $13.50 CAT from last week!  I still have $10 CAT from last week that I get to spend!  Can't wait for the deal this week!

Albies trip 03/03/2010

What a great trip!  For my 1st huge shopping trip there were a few flaws but all in all had a great experience.  The last time I was in there the lady was so rude, the lady I had last night was so awesome, I hope to get her everytime!

I got 3 boxes of Betty Crocker Fruit Roll Ups, 4 boxes of Betty Crocker Gushers, 3 boxes of Betty Crocker Spiderman Fruit Snacks, 6 things of Chef Boyardee, 1 thing of Manwich, 3 things of Hunts Spaghetti Sauce, 2 bottles of catchup, 3 boxes of Jose Ole dinners, 4 boxes of Orville Redenbacher popcorn, 5 banquet dinners, 7 boxes of Hot Pockets and 1 thing of Sour Cream

Total should have been $101.77

Total OOP $40.63

Total Catalina's left over $23.50

So after coupons, preferred savings, and Catalina's the shopping trip cost me $17.13

Thanks Mandi for all the help!  Man this is fun.  My only problem with this is I was up all night trying to figure out what coupons I could use today LOL uh oh this could turn into a problem!

Rookie Mistake

So I went to Walgreens on Friday got the hairbands shown for $2.39 expecting the $2 RR - yeah rookie mistake forgot to pay attention and when I got home there was no RR :(  At least I know to pay attention for next time...

1st Couponing Experience

Ok so because I'm a complete and udder nerd LOL I have to brag about my shopping trip with my hubby and baby this weekend!  I know this doesn't compare to what the coupon guru's are doing these days but I'm overly stoked!
So 1st we were out shopping when Ry's family called and said hey go to Albertson's they have Dr Pepper for FREE you only have to pay tax on it.  Neither one of us drink Dr Pepper but we thought hey why not let's try it out.  We happened to be out by the Federal Way Albertson's so we went there and yep we got 10  2-liters for only $0.76!  Wow was I stoked I mean really, this is stuff you only read about LOL....
So after this great deal we decided to run home and grab my very unorganized coupon binder and hit the Albertson's in Nampa and see what we could come up with!  I thought Ryan was just going to have a fit but he actually had more fun matching things up than I did lol.  So we ran home grabbed all the uncut coupons and headed to Albertson's while I cut to my hearts content!  Little did I know the lady at the check stand was going to hand me scissors and say those won't fit in my drawer you need to trim them... at least I know now LOL!  We ended up getting $111.40 worth of groceries for only $65.98!  Plus we got 2 Catalin's 1 for $1 off Dannon and 1 for General Mills!  As well as a coupon for Fashion Bug that I'm going to pass on to my Mom!  That's a great savings, in my mind especially for getting everything on our list!

I owe a huge thank you to my cousin for helping me get into this!!!!!!  Can't wait to save more and more!

New

Well I haven't been on in a while so I thought I would send out a quick little update.  I'm starting to think all the kids in the universe are sick right now LOL at least the kids in my universe.  Ryk, Kyst, Kinz, Chi, Presli - poor little ones it's so heart breaking when they're sick because there's nothing you can do for them.  I just want to know how 4 out of those 5 get sick and lethargic and just want to cuddle then my monster the sicker he is the more he runs around like a wild man crying his poor head off... I just don't get where he gets all the energy at you know if he just relaxed for a little while he might feel better!
I got a new phone, that's about the most exciting thing that has happened lately lol
Ryk is learning new words and new sign language on a dailey basis I love it, I can actually understand some of the things he says!

O and yes I'm a slacker I still haven't started coupon shopping other than 1 time and I saved over 50% but I'm going to try to get to the store Sunday for some papers!!!

Dad

Ok so I just want to say that I have the best Dad in the entire world he is all anybody could ask for and more!  My Dad and I have a very close relationship and I wouldn't change it for the world!  I only wish everybody in the world could have a Dad like mine!  Today is his 51st birthday and it's occassions like this that just make you sit back and think how lucky you really are!
